Glitch prevents ballot recount in Saugatuck Township; 2-vote margin could be challenged in court. This is typical stuff in Allegan county. Would Lansing please come out here to investigate this?

Chris Wicker who is running for County Commission and his take on that new $20 million dollar jail. He is right on track. Take a look.

John Watts an Allegan attorney charged with embezzlement, auto theft.

Allegan County commissioners approve design for jail. Milleage to be added to August primary ballot. Do you want to help pay for a $26 million dollar jail? Are you keeping your head above water and have a job?

Commissioner Max Thiele said additional soft costs and contingency allowances were part of the plan in addition to the $20 million.

“We’ve always estimated about $6 million above construction cost, and that’s always been talked about,” Thiele said.

Free Cell Phones for the Poor? This is not what America is about, free handouts for everyone!

Why should the american people who work hard have to pay for cell phones for those who do not or do not want to work?  This is NOT a “RIGHT”.  Our “rights” are given to us by God and are written down in the bill of “RIGHTS” by our founding fathers who came here to guarantee these rights for us from Britain.  Do you have a “right” to health care?  NO.  Do you have a “right” to a house paid for by the government?  NO.  Do you have a “right” to free college?  NO.  Do you have a “right” to blah blah blah.

These are your “rights” as set forth by the bill of rights of our founding fathers, not all these things that people say we have a right to do this, to have this , blah blah.  Says who?  You?  Who are you?

D.C. to begin using more-expensive Trojan condoms in HIV prevention program

Government gone wild once again.  Now you can even order them online for free, in multiples of 10 of course. Or if you prefer, just go to the closest barbershop, liquor store or youth center, and just by pass the pharmacy where of course you would have to buy them with your own hard earned money.  More insanity from Uncle Sam.  Not sure what a condom cost, but the DC health department distributed 2.5 million condoms already in 2010. You do the math.

Voters back anti-DC, anti-establishment candidates

The people are fed up with corruption of the establishment.  We expect more from them.

Allegan County Commissioners D Mark DeYoung and Paul VanEck have to fight to hold on to their seats.

With all the discontent happening at all levels of government, maybe the electorate will throw all incumbents out this election cycle?  Wouldn’t hurt my feelings!

Love this guy! We need more like him who don’t beat around the bush like so many politicians, straight forward, blunt and direct, or as some say, confrontational? Too bad.
