Well guess what, he must be dumber than we the people, because he doesn’t  know what ‘NO’ means.  Im sorry, but even 2 year olds can understand what the word NO means, commissioner Don Black! But they are just like you, and do not want to listen.  I hope the people in the 7th district throw him out of office when his term expires in 2012.

“The failure of the Allegan County Board of Canvassers to recount the single precinct in Saugatuck Township was caused by the improper conduct of these election officials,” the report stated.

The report also cites Julia Ryan, Allegan County deputy clerk, for improper direction to local election officials, and Joyce Watts, Allegan County clerk, for her role in Ryan’s conduct and the preparation of an affidavit by Wright.

Even though the top markings are valid votes, the tabulator machines do not pick them up because they are looking for solid filled in ovals.  This is why the County board of canvassers found 1 new YES vote during the hand recount on the Fire millage.  When the number of votes have a big difference, the odds that many people voted like what is above it pretty slim, but when close votes happen, it is imperative that the ballots are recounted by hand to make sure the voters did not vote in this manner.

In Hollywood circles, the death of one’s career is known as “jumping the shark.”  Happy Days fans will remember the episode when Arthur Fonzarelli jumped the shark.  He water-skied, shirtless, and millions of American fans saw for the first time his sunken chest and thin little girl arms.  “Fonzie,” always hiding behind that cool leather jacket, had shown his weakness; a non-athletic body that resembled an anorexic emphysema patient more than a street tough.  His popularity plummeted.  Happy Days was now doomed.

Remember the date of Friday, August 13, 2010, as the day President Barack Hussein Obama jumped the shark.  From this day forward, he will be remembered as “that guy” who supported an Islamic memorial to 3,000 dead Americans in New York at ground zero.  This is the day all suspicions were set-aside and Americans watched (and heard) Obama associate himself more closely with Islam than “we the people.”  Any American second-guessing about this guy being a Muslim has been answered once and for all.  Like the Fonzie’s missing cool leather jacket, Obama’s cool demeanor was missing when he blatantly endorsed a Mosque at ground zero.  He has jumped the shark.  Obama’s political career has ended.  Effective August 13, 2010, Obama became a lame duck president.

Oh sure, his handlers are trying to tell us what we heard was not really what we heard, but even members of his own party are outraged and whispering behind closed doors.  Who wants to be endorsed by someone who supports Muslims over mainstream America?  What politician in the Democrat party wants to be seen with Obama now?

On Friday August 13, Barack Hussein Obama hosted an iftar dinner in the White House State Dining Room.  That’s the meal that breaks the dawn-to-dusk fast for Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan.  Not bad for a guy who cannot seem to find a Christian church to attend after two years in office.  Over 100 Muslim guests listened to Obama’s strong endorsement of Park 51, the proposed Islamic community center and mosque to be built two blocks from the 911 ground zero terrorist attack that slaughtered 3,000 Americans.  Some of the people present have ties to Muslim terrorist groups such as Hamas.  Was Obama pressured by some of these Muslim friends to support this Islamic Mosque de Triomph?  Since February of this year, Obama has rewarded Hamas accomplishments with $1.23 billion U.S. taxpayer dollars.  Or is this some Alinsky move, intended to heighten contradictions and “rub raw” (in Alinsky’s words) the emotions of the public for yet-to-be revealed purposes?

Obama’s remarks drew a standing ovation from his Muslim guests.  His remarks drew bitter criticism from an outraged “we the people of the United States of America .”  So, he tiptoed around his words on Saturday, August 14, by lying to the American people and saying he did not endorse the construction of this mosque at that site.  Oh?  Did he lie to the 100 guests who roared with applause during a standing ovation, or did he lie to the press on a Saturday morning with a “courtesy lie” to the American people?  With 70% of the country opposed to building this mosque, Obama’s support also plays into the great liberal narrative, their “noble calling” of their great commission, that they are bucking the odds, standing in the battlements waving the bloody shirt of social justice.  In spite of great unwashed ignorant masses.  If this sounds like adolescent nonsense, I have just described a liberal.

Before you feel the urge to race to your computer to call me “prejudiced, racist, or bigot”, that dog don’t hunt anymore.  Whatever “cats” Obama had in his secret bag have been let-out.  Defending the construction of an Islamic mosque at ground zero pretty much cemented his hatred towards Americans and this nation.  Remember, in his book “Dreams of My Father” on page 261, he told us “If the political winds shift in an ugly direction, I will side with the Muslims.”  And he has.  He wasn’t lying, so neither should you.  This foreigner in our White House is a Muslim, born in a Muslim country, given a Sunni Muslim name and his allegiance rests with his Islamic brothers who have vowed to kill us all.

Has our government lost touch with our representative republic?

Michigan law states that any recounts requested must be made by electors in the district affected by the question being voted within 6 days following certification of the election by the board of county canvassers, so we are exercising our right to this recount.

5 of the 7 board members who were being recalled had different votes after a recount was conducted by the county after the certified election results.  The Allegan county clerk said the reason was because Dorr’s tabulators had dirty heads, so if that is the case this time around, the outcome of this Fire Millage in Dorr Township could change.

The integrity of the election process is at stake, so paperwork has been filed for a recount.  The vote on Aug. 3, 2010 was 714- YES, 713-NO.  A difference in only 1 vote could stop this millage.

Nor are they alone in their contributions. From 1995 to 2005, legal immigrants were CEOs or lead technologists in one of every four U.S. tech and engineering start-ups and half of those in Silicon Valley. These companies employed some 450,000 people before the recession hit.

It’s now commonplace to see foreign-born students dominating U.S. graduate programs in science, math, and technology. Not long ago, it was joked that MIT stood for “Made in Taiwan.” Immigrants have accounted for 70 or so of 315 American Nobel Prize winners since 1901 and, according to one study, about half of all patents issued in the past decade.

But that flow of talent is starting to reverse course. The U.S. imposes so many limits on the numbers of legal immigrants and, since 9/11, has introduced such a thicket of red tape that many who would have come here are now staying home. (Thats their choice if they do not want wait in line to come to the most prosperous nation in the world) Moreover, their native countries have become more alluring: By a 9 to 1 ratio, Chinese respondents to a recent survey said they had better opportunities to start businesses in China than in the U.S. By a 2 to 1 margin, Indians said their home country provided better education for their children.

NOTE: We are all about LEGAL IMMIGRANTS, those who abide by our laws. If you break US law, you are by definition, a criminal. We lock up criminals as does every other nation on this planet.  So follow the law, come here legal, learn patience and you are welcome to the best country God ever gave to man, the United States of America. We welcome you and your legal family with open arms to live the American Dream, which is why immigrants flock to this nation. Its the land of opportunity, but illegal immigration is destroying it, by sucking this nation dry of all the social benefits they receive off the system, which in turn is driving this nation into bankruptcy.

This makes me realize how many times I am asked for an ID. I never thought about it before. Now that I have, I can’t for the life of me see why anyone would get upset.

I’M A LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZEN & I MUST SHOW MY ID WHEN:

1. Pulled over by the police.
2. Making purchases on my department store credit card.
3. When I show up for a doctor’s appointment.
4. When filling out a credit card or loan application.
5. When applying for or renewing a driver’s license.
6. When applying for any kind of insurance.
7. When filling out college applications.
8. When donating blood.
9. When obtaining certain prescription drugs.
10. When making some debit purchases, especially if I’m out of state.
11. When collecting a boarding pass for airline or train travel.
12. When applying for a job.
13. When applying for unemployment.
14. When applying for social security.

I’m sure there are more instances, but the point is that we citizens of the USA are required to prove who we are nearly every day!!!

Why should people in this country ILLEGALLY, be exempt !!!!!

For that matter, perhaps we should all answer the question: Why shouldn’t the USA guard its borders as closely as every other country in the world does?  They don’t want people in their countries that do not follow their laws, why should we?

Throw them ALL OUT!  We need a NEW CLEAN FRESH start with legislatures with integrity for our nation and not self serving deceptive RATS in office.  Throw them ALL OUT!

Did democracy work in the Dorr recall election?

All seven board members were being recalled because just a few months back the people who were in a $1.5 million dollar sewer district followed the law and gathered signatures on a petition to stop this unnecessary project.

The petitions were presented to the board. We had the majority number of signatures to stop the sewer project, completely separate from the road reconstruction project which we all favor. The petitioners had the majority sign those petitions, yet they LOST!

That was the final straw that broke the camel’s back in this recall, when the Township Board robbed the people of their votes, via their signatures on these petitions.

Now, after this recall election, the seven board members got their majority and they WIN!
So if we use their same rules they used on us only a few months back, will they now tell us they must leave office? Probably not, and they shouldn’t. We just wished they would use the same rules for every election and petition drive, but they only seem to use the rules that benefit themselves, which brings apathy and disillusionment to voters who say it doesn’t matter what the people want, you can’t fight city hall. That is called apathy, and that is exactly what our government wants you to believe.

Many of us fought hard to reveal the inconsistencies in how this board operates, but the people have spoken. That’s all we can ask for and the majority has spoken, the way it should be.
