Dorr Township board defies the people and is intent on moving the sewer project forward!

This may be a big mistake if they defy the people. This is NOT VOLUNTARY! Tammy uses this word to deceive people into thinking this. How can it be voluntary if there are 77 parcels in the sewer district and only 29 voluntarily signed up? Its voluntary for those 29 parcels who signed up, but not for those other 48 parcels, the township board wants them to pay as well, and with accrued interest on top of that!
If only those 29 who actually volunteered and signed on for the sewer had to pay, then that would be voluntary. But that is NOT the case. All the other parcel owners who have said “NO” will have their sewer assessments paid for up front by the DDA for now, but they are expected to pay the DDA back down the road! That is NOT VOLUNTARY, that is forced coersion! The DDA loaned the money to the township board so they have all the money necessary to put in this $1.6 million dollar project without the peoples ok, but once its in, they will make all those who opposed this multi-million dollar project pay that loan back with accrued interest! This is NOT AMERICAN at all!
This is BULL CRAP! When the people of this township petitioned this sewer project twice just within the last 20 months and got enough signatures to stop this project because they do not want to pay the high cost, the township board figuratively just flipped their middle finger at us and said, well, we will just borrow all the money we need and make those who don’t voluntarily sign up now pay us back later down the road with accured interest. We the townboard want this sewer constructed and so do our 21 select friends who own only 29 of the 77, so we don’t care what the other 48 parcel owners want. Personally, I think this current townboard is treading on dangerous waters if you ask me. Well, I know Tammy or Jodi will never ask me, but many other residents have!
This current townboard is the most unethical, evasive bunch of political puppets I have ever seen doing the bidding of a select few who sit in the shadows calling all the shots. We need to expose these people, and we will.
You definitely can see by looking at the data above, this board does not work for the majority of citizens! They have not done that in years with the previous board under Don Kaczanowski and now with Tammy VanHaitsma, and I must add, she is as bad or even worst in my opinion, and now it’s time to finally expose all these underhanded dealings that have been worked behind the scenes for to many years. They have worked in the shadows for to long, and now its time to bring it to the light for everyone to finally see the dark side of our township board.

Dorr resident says, my rights have been violated. This Board has used my tax dollars unwisely. I want them FIRED.
Where does Dorr Township use tax dollars to ask me to vote for or against the sewers then if they do not like my answer they do it their way, anyway.
I am also tired of our School using the kids as an Ace in a hand to get what they want they have done it for years and I have kept my mouth shut. I watched and listened, but now I am tired of it. I would like to see Charters Schools replace our public school in this area. That way I can see where my tax dollars really go! . I didn’t before but I do now! I do not like the school going behind the tax payers back and spending our money on a sewer going on a private road at the tax payers expense where County Commissioner D. Mark DeYoung and Elise (Fifelski) DeYoung will be paid an easement at our expense and get their own sewer for FREE.
Also, I do not like the township board spewing their dirty work out to the friends and family where the persons that are against the sewer at this time because of the money are getting black balled. This is illegal in an under handed way.
I believe its a conflict of interest with the Township Board and DDA on this sewer issue. Who is going to benefit? Why is our School system paying out our tax dollars on sewers when the tax payers said NO!
As far as I am concern the DDA/Dorr Township Board should be recalled and FIRED, for incompliance of using my tax dollars wisely, and not working for me the tax payer who hired them in.
I can speak out now, because my Kids are out of school and the school staff can not hurt them. I can also speak out about Dorr because I have lived in this community for over 40 years and I have had it whether it does any good or not.
WE THE PEOPLE, are what we are taught in our schools, our government, from the news papers and society—-but it means nothing. You are taught what they want you to believe so it can be taken away without your say when it benefits them.

At the Democrat picnic in Riverside Park last Saturday, Levin runs from constituents afraid to answer questions. Instead of walking down the path, he tried to sneak by without addressing tea party group. Of note, despite the GR Press slanted coverage and scant mention of the protest, they estimated the 250 Democrats at the picnic. WRONG!. There were about 60 to 80. An actual head count of protestors was over 50.
Social Security retirement fund will be depleted in 2037, according to the Social Security trustees’ annual report this year.
The retirement program is projected to start paying out more money than it receives in 2016.
